Ft. Myers - Day Seven - Last Twins Game
Final Twins Game
Last day of baseball for this trip, and it was another great day. Tickets near home plate and Jose Berrios was pitching. He also looked great, another good omen for the rest of the year.
We enjoyed the game, but otherwise a pretty uneventful day.
Dinner was at Fat Katz, a sports bar with a great selection of local beers. As we walked to our table, Robert and Jenny are quietly telling me something. It turns out they noticed Taylor Rogers and Tyler Duffey, two pitchers for the Twins sitting at a table right near us. Jenny was begging to talk to them or get a picture, and I told her that maybe when the were done eating. As it turned out we just didn’t bug them, and they finished eating and left quietly.
It was still a little early and we decided to hit another mini golf course. This time it was Alico Family Golf. Kathy took the victory this time and Pat again brought up the rear. At several holes there was a wheel to spin to make things more interesting, and Jenny found that she was much better putting one handed and standing only on her left foot!
Not a lot of pictures today, but still a lot of fun!
